The market rejected another news-driven rally and more sectors are springing leaks. The bear market is still with us. If there is some event that causes a surge in buying intensity - a 90%-up day - then we can think the market did indeed wash out this week. But unless that happens, the trend is down and the better strategy is capital preservation.
